Mail Server Administrator / IT Systems Engineer - Jakarta (Onsite) - Full-time About the Role We are looking for a skilled Mail Server Administrator / IT Systems Engineer with experience in email infrastructure, server management, and networking. In this role, you will be responsible for managing internal mail servers, configuring secure email systems, and ensuring reliable email delivery through VPS and cloud-based routing solutions. Key Responsibilities 1. Mail Server Management Manage and maintain internal mail serversCreate and manage user mailboxesConfigure secure access protocols (IMAP, POP3, SMTP)Implement spam filtering, antivirus, and authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC)Monitor mailbox usage and server logs for troubleshooting2. VPS & Mail Routing Configure VPS/cloud servers for email routingSet up SMTP relays, DNS records, and firewall configurationsEnsure reliable email delivery and prevent blacklistingOptimise mail flow and routing performance3. Security & Compliance Implement encryption (TLS for SMTP, IMAP, POP3)Maintain email backup and recovery strategiesEnsure system security and compliance best practices4. Monitoring & Reporting Monitor server performance, email queues, and trafficIdentify and resolve system issues proactivelyGenerate reports on system usage, errors, and security eventsRequirements Experience in Linux server administration (Debian, Ubuntu, CentOS)Hands-on experience with mail servers (Postfix, Exim, Microsoft Exchange, or Zimbra)Strong understanding of DNS and networking (MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC)Experience with VPS or cloud services (DigitalOcean, AWS, or similar)Familiarity with firewall configuration and server securityBasic scripting knowledge (Bash, Python, or PowerShell) is a plusStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsAble to work onsite in JakartaWhy Join Us?
