Data Center IT Technician (6 Months Contract)

As a Data Center Technician, you perform core data center operations and deployment tasks on one or more functions (e.g., maintenance, projects, networking, media security). You perform troubleshooting and problem identification. Minimum role qualification requires proficiency in: Debugging and troubleshootingEnglish SpeakingExperience installing and working with server hardware.Experience performing hardware swaps in an enterprise environment, such as with Dell or HPE servers.Computer networking (Networking)Applied data security (Hardware/OS)Data center infrastructure knowledge Job description: - Support tracking and analysis for trends of operational characteristics in process or workflow performance and identify opportunities to improve operational procedures with direct guidance (e.g., manage utilization and eliminate non-productive activities). - Maintain the security and integrity of data, track various forms of media to check for standard data security issues (e.g., data was not properly erased) handled in accordance with our security standards. - Diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on equipment, servers, machines, infrastructure, automation, and robotics based on identified issues with defined solutions. - Deploy and operate new data center infrastructure across projects or tasks (e.g. Machine Learning platforms, network architecture).
